CFL is the whole package for someone working in the Life Insurance Industry. Especially for someone who is looking for an opportunity to work with professional, helpful and caring home office personnel. I was attracted to CFL because it is a Catholic Fraternal who “puts their money where their mouth is." From service of members (insureds) to service of independent agents, CFL is second to none. When you can call the home office and speak with an underwriter about special situations and get a resolution over the phone, in minutes, this certainly makes an agent's job much easier. It's the real caring and understanding of everyone at CFL that makes this organization a pleasure to work with. They really do make our members feel like part of the family.
Catholic Financial is a fraternal insurance society that I can count on. They have been protecting members since 1865. They are committed to paying all their claims, are very conservative with funds from members, and are transparent by not using offshore captive insurance or reinsurance companies. Moreover, they have a tremendous amount of surplus reserves behind their reserves. They do not take chances with member funds. As a fraternal, they are helpful and eager to assist members. Service is locally provided in Milwaukee, WI. Catholic Financial does not ship members service needs to countries 6,000 miles away.
I have had great experiences with Catholic Financial Life. First, the help I receive from Joe Kohut on training and answering any question I have on existing clients. Second, the fact that I can call underwriting to prequalify a client. Third, is support I receive from costumer service with beneficiary change, death claims, etc. Fourth, the support they provide for Catholic schools through the Give Back Contest. Last year, I presented the $500 check to one of the three winners of teacher of the year and presented a $4,000 check to her school.
CFL's personal touch at every level; sales, underwriting and member services make you feel a part of a family rather than an insurance company. The compensation and policies are always competitive compared to any other company. The difference lies in their core value: Service to God by Serving Others, most especially its independent agents. CFL allows likeminded prospects to be more vulnerable and willing to have the life insurance conversation.
I like their insurance products and also the extra benefits their policyholders can get through the fraternal department's member benefits.
CFL mission is in line with my values. So, every time I entrust my clients with CFL, I know I am helping my client, my client’s family and community. CFL’s mission: Serving God through serving others, Providing financial security, and Enhancing quality of life sums up why I became an insurance agent and a financial advisor.
I choose to do business with Catholic Financial Life because of its focus on the principles of Catholic social teaching and its commitment to community service and volunteerism. The organization's not-for-profit, member-owned structure may appeal to some of my clients and individuals. Furthermore, it offers a range of competitive financial products and services compared with other financial institutions
